WHAT'S ON OFFER

  • $57.79/hr Days | $60.98/hr Nights

  • $160K+ annual earning potential + Super

  • 2:1 FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Karratha

  • 12 hour shifts

  • Drill Support Day and Night rosters and Blast Crew mostly Days

THE ROLE

DRILL SUPPORT — GET BEHIND THE DRILL AND BUILD YOUR FUTURE

You'll be working alongside experienced Drillers, getting hands-on experience and developing the skills needed to progress towards a Driller position.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with production drilling operations

  • Supporting drill maintenance and servicing

  • Working alongside experienced Drillers

  • Developing practical skills and experience in drilling operations

BLAST CREW — BE PART OF THE ACTION

Get involved in the preparation and support of production blasting operations, working alongside experienced Shotfirers and Blast Crew members.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with blast preparation and charging activities

  • Supporting Shotfirers and Blast Crew members

  • Setting up exclusion zones and safety barriers

  • Conducting equipment checks and general housekeeping

  • Building skills towards a future Shotfirer role

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • HR Driver's Licence for Drill Support OR C Class Driver's Licence for Blast Crew

  • Current White Card

  • DGSC or willingness to obtain

  • National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain

  • Full Australian working rights

  • Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic

  • Good communication skills and a team-first attitude

  • Willingness to learn and take on physically demanding work in remote conditions

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

  • Ability to meet site requirements, including being clean-shaven

No previous mining experience? Don't count yourself out!

Experience in construction, civil, agriculture, quarrying or heavy industry is highly regarded, but not essential.
